Cub Scouting helps boys in first through fifth grades make friends, learn how to get along with others, teaches valuable skills and lessons, and most of all is FUN. Scouting also develops youth in character, citizenship, personal and mental fitness.

Saturday, June 27 - 28: Scouts Camp-Out at Rock Cut State Park
Campsites #7 & #8 Crow is reserved for our Pack (maps attached)
We can meet at the site at 3pm on 6/27/09
Site clean-up is at 2pm on 5/28, or sooner (Check out by 3pm)
All Scouts must have a parent/adult camping with them
Dinner, snacks, and breakfast will be provided
The site has a large fire pit, a bike path (can bring your own bikes), close to fishing (bring fishing poles), pit bathrooms, & water.
Families will need to bring own tents & gear
Cost: $4 per person ($2/person for food & $2/person site fee)
Dinner & Smores on Saturday & breakfast on Sunday provided
A head count is needed by June 20th to the Webelos Leaders
Copies of maps and a detailed list of items suggested are attached

*This is a GREAT area for group camping! Webelos camped there last summer with the Boy Scouts and caught a lot of fish and the trails were
fun!

Suggested items to bring on Camp-out:
Tent for you & your scout/family (Extra tents available to use, if needed – let us know prior)
Sleeping bags/pillows/air mattress
Blanket or folding chairs for by the fire pit
Insect repellant/sun screen
Extra socks/sweatshirt/jacket (dress for the weather)
Comfy walking shoes
Fishing poles (If desired)
Bikes to ride on path (If desired)
Other items you might feel is appropriate for tent camping
Please DON’T plan to leave food out in your tents overnight! If you wish to bring your own food, please keep in a tight cooler to avoid “little
friends” from sniffing around your tent for food.
